After six and half years as Co-founder and CEO, Anton Rohner will be moving on from the role as CEO of ACEN Australia. While Anton will remain a member of the ACEN Australia Board, we welcome David Pollington into the CEOrole and to the Board of Directors. David is currently the COO of ACEN Australia. These changes are effective from 1 July 2023.
ACEN Australia started as a vision between Anton, David and then Chairman, Brian Caffyn. In that time the business has grown, bringing on a team of skilled and innovative thinkers. And with New England Solar our first project to be generating and our second project, Stubbo Solar in construction, we’ve now matured from a development company, into a business with more than 1GW capacity of large scale renewable energy in construction, and more than 8GW capacity in the development pipeline across Australia.
ACEN Australia recognises Anton’s leadership in bringing the business to where it is today, and his ongoing commitment to making the Australia business a success. We also thank our partners and stakeholders for their support for ACEN Australia’s vision in realising Australia’s renewable energy transition.
