Last month ACEN Australia had the pleasure of hosting members of the Ayala Corporation Board around our New England Solar site, along with senior members of the ACEN Renewables management team. Parent company to ACEN, Ayala Corporation is one of the largest companies in the Philippines with core interests in real estate, banking, water, telecommunications, and power and emerging enterprises in infrastructure, healthcare and education. ACEN is the Philippine listed energy platform of the Ayala Group.
New England Solar is the largest single investment that Ayala Corporation has made outside of the Philippines and it is one of the largest solar and battery energy storage projects in construction across Australia. ACEN is taking a leading role in the renewables revolution with an ambitious goal to assemble 20GW of renewables capacity by 2030, with ACEN Australia making up an impressive 25% of that target.
