Works are continuing on the New England Solar substation extension. Contractor EPEC last week conducted concrete pours for the Battery Energy Storage System’s switching yard grantry and disconnector, as we prepare for the arrival of the BESS transformer in the second half of this month.
Road works to seal the remaining 1km of gravel road on Big Ridge Road, leading to the New England Solar site, are set to begin on Monday 10 March.
