The 2025 National Trust Heritage NSW Awards have honoured the Anaiwan Grinding Grooves project, and its partnership between ACEN Australia and New England Solar’s Anaiwan Registered Aboriginal Parties.

The Grinding Grooves project, to restore and maintain the cultural heritage site, was named runner-up in the ‘Enduring’ category when the annual award ceremony was held in Sydney.

It was a great honour for a collaboration spanning several years, to protect Aboriginal culture and create commercial opportunities for the Anaiwan community through the project’s supply chain.
